Entering percentages

How to enter percentages in Excel?
When I format cells as percentages, the exact percentages don't show up. They get multiplied by 100.

To convert a number into percentage,
RIGHT CLICK->FORMAT CELLS->NUMBER->PERCENTAGE and CLICK OK.
You can also specify the number of decimal places to follow percentage.

Tip:

It is always advised to format cells as percentage before you enter values. This is because if you enter your values and format it to percentage, they get multiplied 100 since cent percentage is equal to 100. For example, if you enter the number 4 and format cells as percentage, you get the value 400%. But if you format the cells as percentage and enter 4, you get the value 4%.You can also enter decimal values if you format the cells prior to entering values.

Font size

What is the maximum font size in Excel?
What is the minimum font size in Excel?
Can I use decimal in font size?

The minimum font size available in Microsoft Excel is 1 point and the maximum size is 409 points. Thus the font size may range anywhere from 1 to 409 points. As regards decimal, you can use font sizes in multiples of 0.5(e.g)1.5,2.5,3.5 etc., You can only use one decimal point and if you use more than one decimal points its rounded off. Same is the case for other decimal values. Thus if you enter 12.3 then font size is rounded to 12.5 and when you enter 12.73 then it is rounded as 13.
It should be noted that the font values should be directly entered into the font size box and cannot be selected from the dropdown box since the dropdown box contains only standard font sizes.
